What is BABs? 

Badass Breeder is a breeding, whelping, and puppy raising protocol developed and endorsed by Jeanette Forrey at 4E kennels.  It encompasses everything from DAM care, whelping, puppy rearing, puppy evaluations, health guarantees, parent testing, and a lot more. 

What is Puppy Culture?

Puppy Culture is a puppy rearing protocol that incorporates early training prior to receiving your puppy.  Your puppy will be exposed to common scents and sounds, crates, potty training, and grooming.

What puppy food do you use/recommend?

Your puppy has been started on Bil-Jac Puppy kibble.  You will be given a seven day supply of this food when you take Puppy home.  Bil-Jac can be procured through chewy.com or Petsmart. 

Taking Puppy home is a traumatic event for puppy.  Please do not transition to a new food for at least 14-30 days after bringing Puppy home.  Also, please do not transition all at once.  Follow a 75% BJ/25% new food, 50%/50%, and 25%BJ/75% new food mix for four to seven days each.  If you do not allow a sufficient transition time, your poodle’s gut health will be thrown out of balance, and Puppy will likely  have loose stool (diarrhea).

Do you dock tails and remove dew claws?

Tails will be docked to 2/3 length and rear dew claws will be removed.

What will my puppy come home with?

Registration, microchip, vet, and insurance paperwork; seven days of puppy food and treats; snuggle puppy and blanket, TSA approved travel crate (if needed), toys, leash, and collar.
